Three Weeks review of SLY

Richard Herring – Someone Likes Yoghurt
You get the feeing that Richard Herring thinks some of the audience don’t ‘get’ his set. So he makes it clear. This is a show about questioning everything - from Catholicism to magpies. And as a summary I couldn’t put it better myself, aside from adding some praise – something along the lines of “remarkably clever and very funny”. There’s always fear that if you don’t like Herring’s style of comedy, you could get lost, and this might be the problem he’s feeling from his audience. However, his set is a delightful visit to that surreal comic mind he possesses. And yes, he does get a bit obsessional about, well, his lack of obsession with yoghurt. Take it on, fan or otherwise.
