We're rebooting Naked Gun
Let's get Leslie Nielsen
He's dead
Then get me the actor whose name sounds most like Leslie Nielsen

If I'd know that Brexit would lead to the complete destruction of the Tory party, I would have voted for it.
Sorry for not understanding what you were doing Leaveophiles. It's all making sense now. Probably worth the self-inflicted kick in the country's gonads to achieve this.
Though well done to the Tories for having the chops to be suggesting a re-vote within weeks of a result you didn't like. You lost, get over it. Democracy has spoken. It doesn't matter if that's resulted in a total shitshow, you have to respect the will of the people. I know it was an unrepresentative sample of old people who were thinking selfishly, yes - you're not making this any better for yourselves.

I can't understand why talking to people (and puppets) for 3 hours, two days in a row, is completely exhausting, so I don't expect you to understand it, but it was pretty hard to get through Twitch of Fun tonight and for once, not because of embarrassment.
The two book club guests could hardly be more different: the fizzy, emotional and scattergun Joe Tracini and the dry and mildly ponderous Adrian Chiles. Both have had to consider their intake of drugs (alcohol is a drug - I feel like a smartarse student) and both have written thought provoking books about their lives. Only one of them started life in Joe Pasquale's bollocks though, though maybe Adrian will end his life laying his head on those said testicles. You never know. Adrian was a revelation on the RHLSTP he did a few years back - very funny and incredibly honest. He told me that his current partner had listened to that podcast ahead of their first date, which could have gone either way, but it worked out, so I am taking credit for igniting their love by getting Adrian to talk about wet dreams and whatever other appalling things he mentioned back then.
I like him very much. His writing is authentic and unpretentious and whilst the book made me wonder if I should think about returning to moderate drinking, in person Adrian seemed to think that I shouldn't slide back - or at least he didn't want to be responsible for seeing me pissed in a gutter in a year's time.

The nice thing about Twitch of Fun is that ti doesn't particularly matter if it doesn't work, because that's kind of the joke anyway, but as much as I thought I might call it off this week, I am glad I persisted and gave it a go. We weren't on top form, but there were enough good bits. Check out as a podcast and YouTube on Friday.

An extraordinary thread from David Reed of posters of comedians created by AI Not sure how I ended up with 6 fingers.
