"Do you want to know what you shouted out in your sleep last night?" asked a smirking Ben Moor at first light today.
"I'm not sure," I replied, worrying it might be something about my secret bottom fetish, that it is paramount he never finds out about.
"Do you want to know or should I keep it to myself?"
"Oh go on then, what was it?"
"Zach Braff!" said Ben.
"What?"
"You shouted out "Zach Braff!""
"It doesn't seem likely. How did I shout it?"
"Like you were impressed because you had just spotted him - "Zach Braff!"
"I didn't shout that," I insisted, "I don't really know that much about Zach Braff and I wouldn't be impressed about meeting him."
"Well you shouted it out. And you sounded impressed," said a laughing Ben Moor.
"You must have misheard me. Maybe I said "Sack Bush!" because I am very politically motivated, even in the dreamscape."
"No, it was definitely Zach Braff!"
Why would I have done such a thing? I have seen
Zach Braff in the slightly disappointing film "Garden State" and the excellent "Arrested Development", but have never really got into "Scrubs" or anything else he has done. Why was dreaming about him and shouting out his name? Is this something I do every night? Or does the Hollywood celebrity I meet alter. I don't know, because usually I sleep alone or am with someone who is too polite to reveal the contents of my night-time conversations.
"Zach Braff!" is the kind of thing that Ben Moor would shout out. I tried to argue that it was Ben who had shouted out this name and that he had woken himself up by doing this and then convinced his addled brain that I was the one who had shouted it. It's Ben who loves Zach Braff. Not me.
Though he spent all day telling everyone we met about my secret shame. Luckily tonight I slept alone (though I certainly did my very best to avoid this eventuality at the party we were at, but maybe all the women were put off by the Zach Braff story - yes that would be it) so no-one was there to hear my night-time ululations and ejaculations.

I doubt anyone will get them all right and at least one is kind of impossible and some of them involve guessing so do have a go.
