6646/19566
40 days off the booze. And unlike that lightweight Jesus, I am pushing on with this and not having an Easter egg to celebrate how awesome I am.
That kid sometimes acts like he's Lord God Almighty.

Oh and very excited that I am only 20 days from entry 6666

A morning stone clear in which I realised that birds are just fish of the air and worms are just birds of the soil and humans are just worms of the air (as are the worms above ground).
Is it just me or is it a bit extraordinary that we're on the 94th episode of this (if you include the Fummertime Fpecial) and that's not even including the daily first lockdown ones and the youtube live stone clears. Something couldn't possibly have been recommissioned for that long if it was rubbish and of no value. That's just common sense.

I had a more enjoyable morning of home schooling as my daughter wrote a story about how the tiger got its tail (apparently it age a zebra and that did it, and we then had a laugh when the third it of the work was to conclude the story and explain how everyone lived happily ever after - "Not the zebra though" we both observed, whilst laughing at the stupid, dead, fictional zebra.
This is the last day that my daughter will be five and it felt weird bidding that five year old adieu at bedtime tonight. I'll never see her again.
As we talked about birthdays my daughter said that she didn't want to die and I told her that she'd probably live to 200 so she didn't have to worry about it yet. I remember these thoughts keeping me awake at night at a similar age, but look, I got to 53. If I could go back and tell the 5 year old me that he'd consider that a very long life. So he needn't have worried.
It's a joy and a tragedy to witness a human being's growth from screaming clueless newborn to a 6 year old capable of making jokes and considering her own mortality. She's an absolute champ and a whirlwind of emotion. I hope she can retain at least some of this joy and confidence before life rises up to tell her that that's not the way things are meant to be (if you didn't go to Eton).
Six years since I unwittingly dragged cat shit into the bed whilst my wife lay in the bath to try and ease the pain.
Maybe that shouldn't be the main memory of the occasion, but what can you do?
I can't believe my daughter is so old, but also cannot really think of a time she didn't exist. It feels like yesterday and a hundred years ago.

I recorded another Dibdin sketch today. There's an origin story in there for you and some other surprises. I suppose there should be 20 episodes as that's how many lessons female Stevie has signed up for, but I don't know if I've got that in me. It's most of what I have achieved in the last two days and that's probably not the most productive use of my time. I guess if it starts to feel that I am not getting anything new out of it it may be time to retire Peter for another 25 years. But see what you think on Twitch of Fun on Thursday.
