Slightly more than 50% of Americans are stupid idiots. Thanks for screwing the world up for the rest of us, you cunts. I mean I would probably have given Bush another go if I'd been you. After all he only lost two of your buildings during his first term. They were quite big buildings, but you've got millions more so it's not really significant is it? And he coped really well with the immediate aftermath there didn't he? By, you know, continuing to read a children's book and then hiding. I can see why you'd want that kind of strong leadership. And you have to respect a man who could turn the wave of sympathy that followed 11/9 into a tsunami of resentment. That takes skill. But I wouldn't fret; probably most of the trouble that will be caused by your decision will happen elsewhere in the world to America. You've certainly sent a very clear sign to the rest of us where your priorities lie.
Still at least Jon Culshaw will be happy. And that's the main thing.

I woke up at 7am to the radio spewing out information which my brain wasn't quite focusing on, but which seemed to contain the word "Bush" rather more than the word "Kerry". Unlike some of you I had not been up at 2am when it seemed like Kerry might win, so the disappointment wasn't as complete as it could have been. But it was still a depressing start to my day. Not that I had seriously considered any other result. Kerry never looked like he could win and Bush always looked like he'd be the best at cheating if it ever came to that. He won Florida easily, presumably having come up with some alternative system which didn't rely on some of his relatives lying for him.
I was especially sickened by the photo of him in all the papers with his eyes closed and his hands together in prayer. I have never seen anything so transparently cynical and if I had been a Christian that would have been enough to make sure I never voted Republican again. You can see in his face that he's thinking, "this should get a few votes". If you want to pray then do it in private. To do it in public in this way is offensive to everyone.
Slightly more than 50% of America you deserve everything you are going to get. Slightly less than 50% of America and the rest of the world you'd better try praying.
Where do I sign up for Al Quaida?
