Hey everyone,
Here's what's going on in my crazy, zany world in May 2008 and beyond.
OH F***, I'M 40
You have two more opportunities to see this show before it goes to the great graveyard in the sky.
10th May Malton N Yorkshire
7th June Liverpool
Go to
http://www.richardherring.com/gigs/ for details.
This show will be coming out on DVD in a few months, courtesy of the good folks at

THE HEADMASTER'S SON
I am working up my new Edinburgh show over the next three months. It will be on at the White Belly at the Underbelly at 19.30 from 31st July - 24th August (not 20th). You can book tickets (though not yet I imagine) on 08445458252
If you wish to get your name in the programme and help raise money for SCOPE you have until 23.59 on 31st May to donate (at least) £12.50 at
http://www.justgiving.com/headmastersson/
£2000 has already been raised, so thanks to those of you have donated, but it would be great to get more. There are also a couple of pages available for adverts. Get in touch with me at herring1967@googlemail.com to find out rates.
GIGS
Some of these are stand up gigs and some of them are THS previews. The early ones will necessarily be slapdash and embarrassing, but quite interesting to watch. Again all details will appear at some point at

LYRIC HAMMERSMITH
I am organising and hosting a series of gigs at the lovely Lyric theatre in Hammersmith. The first two this year have genuinely been two of the loveliest and most impressive gigs I have ever been involved with. There is one more in the season where I will be introducing Russell Howard, Tony Law and Justin Edwards. There are details here -
http://www.lyric.co.uk/pl341.html and you can book online or call 0871 22 117 29
There is a new season in the autumn on Sept 21st, October 26th and November 16th and Stewart Lee will be trying out material for his new TV show on all of these dates. It also looks like the November 16th date might be a bit special. Put it in your diaries now. I think you might want to be there. I will give you more info as soon as everything is confirmed.
DVDs and POSTERS
You can buy DVDs of Hercules, Yoghurt and menage a un at the go faster website -
http://www.gofasterstripe.com/
There are also a limited number of posters available here of Hercules, Talking C*ck, Yoghurt and 40. They are £5 each or three for £10.
COLLINGS and HERRIN
I have been doing a weekly podcast with Andrew Collings from off of "I love 1983". They have been lots of fun and I think we're getting better at it. You can listen to them all here -
http://www.comedy.org.uk/podcasts/collingsherrin/
Or why not subscribe via iTunes and help get us back up in the top 20 where we belong.
RADIO
I think there's still an episode or two of Banter to go out. It's on Radio 4 on Thursdays at 6.30pm or listen again here -

TV
I have just given in a second draft of my sitcom "Absolutely Scrabulous" and am waiting to hear back from the BBC. Fingers crossed.
WARMING UP
I am still plodding on with my daily blog, and in the next couple of weeks will reach entry 2000, not having missed a day since I started in November 2002. Have a look at it again if you haven't for a while. It is quite funny.

Hope to see you at one of the gigs.
Thanks for reading this long message
