Hi all
Hope you had a great Easter and I bet you're all looking forward to the Royal Wedding as much as I am.
May looks like being another busy month for me. Here's what's going down, dudes.
CHRIST ON A BIKE
The Christ on a Bike tour is coming to an end. It's been an intense couple of months, but I've been enjoying it and thanks to all those of you who have seen it already. Just sixteen more chances to catch the show live, but it will be available on DVD later in the year.
Some of the shows are sold out and some have sold hardly any tickets, so would love to see you in Lowestoft, Inverness or Dundee particularly. There are going to be some Christians protesting in Lowestoft and Norwich, giving you two shows for the price of one.

DVD RECORD
The Christ on a Bike DVD record is sold out, but on the same night (18th May at 10pm) we are doing an exclusive Collings and Herring video podcast which will be on the DVD and nowhere else! You can come and be in the audience and possibly the DVD too as we'll be taking questions. There's still a few tickets left. BOOK NOW

We are continuing to produce out weekly podcasts, now with sound that will please the most disgusting of audiophiles - Download them for free from
http://www.comedy.co.uk/podcasts/collingsherrin/ or look us up on iTunes. We miss the 6Music show, but Adam and Joe are amazing, so tune in to hear them on Saturday mornings.
AS IT OCCURS TO ME
The third series of the award winning podcast wil be recorded every Monday from May 16th to June 20th at the Leicester Square Theatre. This project depends on your support so if you can come to see it live then that would be amazing. You also get to see an exclusive 45 minute set of stand up not available on line. You can get tickets here -
http://tinyurl.com/ydtggs9
It will be available to download from iTunes or The British Comedy Guide

Catch up with the old episodes there.
If you need something else to tide you over then the Radio 2 show "That Was Then This Is Now" in some ways the prototype for AIOTM
is available here - http://feeds.feedburner.com/TWTTIN
EDINBURGH 2011
I am doing two shows this year
Richard Herring's Edinburgh Fringe Podcast - which will be at the stand at 2.20pm every day (apart from the 15th) from 5th-29th August (with a preview show on 3rd August at 4.50pm) at the Stand One. This will be full of topical chat, interviews and swearing and will be available for free on iTunes and the British Comedy Guide, but will be lots of fun to attend and there will be BIG PRIZES
What is Love, Anyway? - My new stand up show at the Cow Barn on Bristo Square at 9pm from 4th-28th August.
Tickets are not yet available for these shows, but will let you know as soon as they are. There will be previews of WILA as all the cool kids are calling it in June and July in quite a few towns including Colchester, Bristol, Cardiff, Newcastle, Coventry and London. I will provide more details in the next newsletter.
EDINBURGH CHARITY PROGRAMME
As usual I will be doing a free programme for my main show, with a collection for SCOPE at the end of the gig. 30-40,000 of these will be distributed during Edinburgh and the subsequent tour. It is paid for by adverts and donations from vain people who want their names in the programme. So if you have something you want to advertise please contact me for rates at herring1967@googlemail.com - I can do quarter page, half page and full page ads. The rates are very reasonable and ensure maximum profits for SCOPE
If you would like to see your name in the programme then simply donate a minimum of £12.50 (but the more you donate the bigger your name will appear) on my justgiving page - http://www.justgiving.com/whatislove
If you also email me your home address I will post you a limited edition signed programme when they are printed up. There will also be a cool prize for whoever donates the most.
You have been incredibly generous in the past with this and hope you will be again. Your money goes to an amazing cause - we've raised over £35,000 with the Christ on a Bike programme (with 16 gigs to go), so hopefully we'll get close to the £40,000 mark this year!
TV
I will hopefully be appearing on "Have I Got News For You" at some point in May.
I am also hoping to have completed a new comedy drama script for the BBC by the end of the month. I'll let you know if anything comes of that.
