Hi everyone
I am finally back home in Shepherd's Bush after six months of displacement. The Edinburgh Fringe was a tough slog as usual and audience numbers were down a little (though I think up for the podcast), but I was pleased with the way both shows turned out and they were favourably reviewed.
You can listen to all 25 Edinburgh Fringe Podcasts here -
http://www.comedy.co.uk/podcasts/richard_herring_edinburgh/ or download on iTunes. And if you missed Talking C*ck, then you can catch it on tour.
I am supposed to be taking it easy in September, but here's what's coming up in the next couple of months.
TALKING COCK TOUR
I am doing a few dates of this show throughout the autumn - most of them will be an extended 90 minute version of my c*ck, though a couple of them are festival gigs which might be restricted to an hour. These are selling well so book now (think Manchester might be sold out, but I am back at the Lowry in the spring).
7th October Liverpool Comedy Festival - Laughterhouse Comedy Club
12th October Brighton Pavilion Theatre
14th October Sheffield Comedy Festival - Memorial Hall
17th, 19th, 20th October Southbank Centre, Purcell Rooms, London
23rd October Manchester Frog and Bucket
For details of these shows and the others in November and Feb-June 2013 please go to -

LEICESTER SQUARE THEATRE PODCASTS
These are returning in October and though I have no acts totally confirmed both Dave Gorman and Frank Skinner are likely to be guests. Keep an eye on my Twitter feed (@Herring1967) and the website for details of guests.
The dates are
October 1st, 8th and 22nd
November 5th, 19th
December 3rd
You can book ahead here -

If people keep coming then we can keep making them. Simple as that!
As always the podcasts will be available to download for free from iTunes and the British Comedy Guide.
ME1 vs ME2 SNOOKER
As my house is now pretty much finished I should be able to start up with more frames of the increasingly unpopular podcast (which I am fairly convinced is the greatest thing I have ever done). If you haven't listened yet or want to catch up before the contest commences then they're all up on iTunes or at the British Comedy Guide -
http://www.comedy.co.uk/podcasts/richard_herring_snooker/ competitively priced at 0p.
GOFASTERSTRIPE
What is Love, Anyway? is now available to buy from the good folks at gofasterstripe.com. It has a whole disc of extras including the first ever filmed frame of Me1 vs Me2 snooker - Buy it here

Fist of Fun series 2 is now in production and should be available within 8 weeks. If you want to help Chris Evans (not that one) be able to afford to get them made and to ensure it's sent out to you as soon as it is ready, then you can preorder here -

You can also buy the Talking C*ck book exclusively from the site -

Lots of other great stuff to buy there if you want to have a browse.
RA-RA RASPUTIN
Nineteen years after it premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe I have been commissioned by the BBC to write a TV sit-com pilot of Ra-Ra Raputin which fuses history, lies, modern day events and disco music to create one of the most strange comedies of all time. I am hoping to get the script written this month and then we will have to wait and see if it is commissioned or cruelly rejected or put on hold for another two decades.
METRO
My weekly Metro column continues - you can catch up on them all here -
