The judge for this category is Alan McGee. He discovered era-defining bands Oasis and The Jesus And Mary Chain, and with Creation Records also released classic albums from the likes of Primal Scream, Super Furry Animals and My Bloody Valentine. He then disbanded Creation, set up the Poptones label, and now runs two weekly club nights in London - Death Disco and The Queen Is Dead.
